Introduction to Risk Analysis for Fusion Center Analysts (IRAFCA)

Delivered at Argonne National Labs in Lemont, IL (outside of Chicago, IL).

The Office of Cyber & Infrastructure Analysis (OCIA) Introduction to Risk Analysis for Fusion Center Analysts Course provides participants with an overview of risk analysis, management, and communication concepts concentrating on threat, vulnerability and consequence, and enhances the participant’s understanding of the role and importance of risk analysis (multiple perspectives, problem domains, and applications). The course includes practical exercises to promote and reinforce critical thinking and risk concepts in the context of fusion center problems, procedures, and products. This course was developed by OCIA in partnership with I&A and FEMA.

Level of Knowledge: Entry-level

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED

Evaluation: Students demonstrate knowledge and proficiency through class participation and exercises. Students must complete the required pre-and post-tests to receive a completion certificate.

Course Delivery: This course is delivered at Argonne National Laboratory, 9700 S. Cass Avenue, Lemont, IL (outside of Chicago, IL).

Course Length: 4 days

Target Audience:  Participation in this program is limited to state and major urban area fusion center analysts employed by a state or local government agency. Course content is specifically designed for fusion center risk and/or critical infrastructure analysts.
